THE APPROACH
Why Thrively Yoga Therapy Lab?
My approach to yoga therapy draws on my clinical experience: blending somatic and contemplative practices, creating a comprehensive framework for addressing various mental and physical health concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma recovery. My approach is grounded in a whole-person perspective, recognizing that lasting change requires addressing the intersections of body, mind, emotions, and experience. Addressing nervous system responses and life experiences can lay a stable foundation for growth.
Through targeted yoga therapy techniques, we’ll identify and work to transform habitual stress responses that perpetuate symptoms. Working directly with the nervous system allows us to build capacity for self-regulation, introspection, and resilience.
Our work together is deeply collaborative—honoring your comfort level and keeping your goals at the forefront. This partnership allows us to explore and develop personalized practices that genuinely resonate with you. With your consent, I can also collaborate with your other healthcare providers when appropriate to ensure you have a comprehensive support system as you navigate your path toward wellness. My approach bridges the gap between neuroscience, ancient wisdom, and accessible daily practices, empowering you with concrete tools to better manage your life and reach your goals.
